Not sure if you mean fraternities or sororities.
Atleast for sororities I can think of several "low tier" ones who have gotten better PCs and "high tier" ones who have gotten worse PCs in recent years, The rankings don't mean anything apart from this site and are only relevant once a year when freshman who are rushing dig up posts from 2011 and act like they know all about the reputation of the sororities despite the fact that they're just perpetuating BS.
So I don't really know how to answer your question.
If you're a cool, cute, fun girl then people will think of you that way no matter what sorority you join. I don't personally know anyone in Greek life who actually believes in tiers.

I otherwise would've agreed with the person above me, but the part of the question about changing rankings does have me a little suspicious. Their house from the get go has been trying to knock other houses down and that attitude has unfortunately persisted through this year's recruitment.

This literally could've been posted by a girl in any sorority, or a girl who isn't in a sorority at all trying to stir up drama. Get over yourself. If you have a personal problem with a sorority that's pretty pathetic.
