Why all the COB posts? If you have a connection and you still got cut, COB chances are not good either

Regular rush will fill most sororities up to quota and they won't be able to take you in the fall. If you have already been cut, there is almost no chance this fall.

What about for the Spring? I'm down to two houses after round three, neither of which I'm extremely fond of, but am worried about getting completely released. COB might be a good option for me.

If you get released, then cob may be a good option but very very few spots generally become available. This is your best shot. Only the sororities that don't make quota will be doing spring rush or active COB. This is your best chance. See what happens tomorrow. Good luck! I know this is stressful and hard!

COB is for the girls that don't have the nerve to go the regular recruitment route. Little princesses that aren't getting there way. Either play by the rules or go away. So many girls did that last year. Quit using people to get your way.

Considering COB if I'm completely released doesn't make me a "little princess". I've tried formal recruitment and going in not knowing anyone is really scary. I also think it's affecting my chances for sororities especially because I'm new here. I'm sorry I didn't grow up here, but you don't have to be rude.

COB is not a good option unless you are released, in which case it is your only option. If you are invited to even one house on pref night, your chances are infinitely greater of joining the Greek community at UNC during regular recruitment than trying your luck during COB. Very few girls get in during COB, and usually it's the sororities that didn't make quota because people like you dropped out.
