what are the due for the big frats? like is money the biggest factor into getting a bid?

Really Depends, generally at UNC the better fraternity you join the more expensive dues are. Most of the "middle" or better fraternities will cost around $3000+ a semester out of house including meal plan. DKE, Phi Gam, Phi Delt, Beta, Chi Phi, SAE, Chi Psi, Kappa Sig, Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu, and ATO will all definitely run you around that number.

The cheapest I know of is Alpha Sig which is a couple hundred bucks.
