rushing as a transfer

Is it impossible to rush a sorority as a transfer sophomore? I don't know anyone in the greek system at UNC since I'm from out of state. I have a good gpa and I'm keeping an open mind and am not focused on just getting into one. How hard will it be to get a bid from a sorority as a soph transfer??

Hey! I'm in a sorority at UNC. You should be just fine during recruitment as a sophomore transfer. Like the other commenter said, just keep an open mind and know that the process works.

Sororities here are really pretty open about accepting transfers. I've known even a Junior transfer to have joined one. You'll be fine.

hi im in the same boat!! i just got into unc today as a transfer and i definitely want to rush in the fall but im nervous about being an out of state transfer since theres so many people in state.
