As middle tier because their pledge classes are improving and they have great sisterhood. Things don't always stay the same, and Kappa used to be solid middle tier - those days are back again, to judge by their last couple pledge classes and last couple of years of leadership.

Pi Phi girls are some of the most chill, down-to-earth girls at UNC. Some of them may not be the most attractive girls, but there are a lot of really pretty ones too! They all get along, and you'll always have fun with a Pi Phi. They don't get enough credit, and they're definitely not the worst sorority at UNC. I'd give them a middle tier.

phi mu is a pretty bunch of girls, but they seriously try SO hard to move up in the ranks. notice how many rankings are on this page. i've heard stories of just how desperate they are, and it shows during recruitment and new member period.
