Phi Mu - ΦΜ Sorority Ratings at UM

Honestly there are some really great sweet girls in this chapter but there are some truly awful ones to. Some of the girls in this chapter have a tendency to think they are better than others but on the other hand some are the sweetest most down to earth people you will ever meet.

Can I JUST say something real quick? People low key hate on Phi Mu as a chapter, but they have really done the thing over the past couple of years. I always see them out there during philanthropies and intramurals trying their hardest, and it is really encouraging to see so many young women able to work together. Many of Phi Mu’s are involved on campus (mavens, OLs, college night), and quite a few of them are involved off campus as well. I think it is the job of the one going through recruitment to discern whether or not a particular chapter is a good fit, but judging by those I have encountered from this chapter, it is evident they love and care for one another. Also their hall is cute and usually smells nice so if that suits your fancy, you may wanna check them out lol

Phi Mu is an awesome chapter at Montevallo. These girls are funny, kind and so involved. They pour themselves into Montevallo as leaders and I think that’s incredible. They seem to have a really unique sisterhood & I wish I knew more of them! Can’t go wrong with being friends with these gals.

It would be impossible for me to not write something about the organization that consumed my heart for a whole four years. These ladies are indescribably passionate, smart, hard-working, kind, and unique. In this organization, I was given amazing friends, memories and leadership opportunities that far surpassed anything I thought I was capable of. Because of Phi Mu, I grew so much as a person, friend, choreographer, team member, and leader. There is truly a place for everyone here. I envy the soon to be new members, as they have 4 years of laughs, memories, events, practices, and friendships to look forward to. Phi Mu was more than anything I could have ever asked for in an organization, and truly changed my life forever. I love all of these members wholeheartedly, and hate that my time passed so quickly! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but take it from someone who’s been there. The greek life at Montevallo is an incredible opportunity. Every organization has highs and lows, good parts and bad parts, great times and not so great times. See it for yourself- go through recruitment and make for you, what was one of the best decisions I ever made.

This chapter has some really great girls. Several of them are involved on campus in things like College Night, athletics, Mavens, Masters, dance team, etc. They also have girls who are really involved outside of campus which is really great! They had a couple of members compete in Miss Alabama and they both did phenomenally well. I've been tour partners with several phi mu's in the past and they were so fun to work with!

Phi Mus are super sweet, and they also get really involved with campus and panhelenic life. They seem to have an amazing sisterhood! They’re sweet and accepting of everyone!

Phi Mu at Montevallo are by far the most involved sorority on campus, they participate in every philanthropy and go above and beyond to keep grades and leadership up among the chapter while involving other students who are non Greek! The Phi Mu chapter at Montevallo are very inclusive to all women just as the school is, and participate in college night in high capacity on both gold and purple side! This chapter lives to the standard that the sorority upholds and are wonderful rolemodles in the classroom or any other social setting while still having a good time!

Phi mu as a chapter on this campus has some really great girls... but also some really awful ones as well. Quick to judge and gossip about others.

Absolutely love these groups of girls. If you wanna go Greek I would say this is one of your top options!

If you get one of them alone then they're fine but together they feed off each other and become hateful and rude. They've had some bad attitudes and don't really represent the better parts of Greek life. They definitely have a handful of great girls who get lost in the sea of the other's bad attitudes and it drowns them out. Wish I could see those girls shine more.
