Phi Mu - ΦΜ Sorority Ratings at UM

From the time I was a freshman here at Montevallo these ladies have been undoubtedly the most dominant sorority on campus. They have the best GPA always without question, they have more members involved in more things on campus than anyone else, and they are all around more involved than any other Sorority on campus. Classy ladies.

These are a fantastic group of girls! People always give them so much crap before they get to know them. They are genuinely sweet girls and yes there may be a few bad apples but that's how it is in any sorority. They are all extremely beautiful and smart and hold their heads up high because they are proud to be number one on campus in grades and academics. That's why people think they are stuck up. It's more than just looks with these girls. They truly have a lot going for them!

I just read the previous statements and had to laugh. Obviously some of the comments came from other girls in different sororities to try and downgrade the Phi Mus. Undoubtedly there are going to be lemons in every sorority on campus, but the Phi Mu sisters at Montevallo are tops as well as the Phi Mu sisters at Samford. If you check most campuses, U of Alabama for example, anywhere you go Phi Mus rate very high. Go into recruitment with an open mind and you can spot insincerity very easily.

They are very pretty, but their attitudes and sisterhood needs work. They talk badly about their sisters to each other and to people who are not in their sorority. Most of the time any rumors that get started about them also started with them. They could use some work.

I was looking forward to meeting them the most, but they just weren't how I thought they'd be. They didn't even seem to try to talk to people, they were just standing around talking among themselves.

I'm friends with some Phi Mu's I met during recruitment last year. I love each of them! I have also made a few older Phi Mu friends through my classes as well, they are a nice group. Also very approachable. Most people don't think so bc they let the "they're stuck up and pretty" crap keep them away.

These girls are just not very nice in general. Majority of them think they are better than everyone else they also hold up a really awkward number 1 sign in all their group photos and I'm always confused why? Where is their humility? I have also heard very terrible things from their own members about what happens after you pledge phi mu during rush and that they expect a lot more money out of you than they really tell you. If I were a freshmen going through rush I would not pledge phi mu

Phi Mu used to be the best on campus, but they've fallen from that over the years. Still top tier though. They usually win first in grades, and are pretty good at intramurals. When Phi Mu and Chi O play each other, it's usually a big deal because both sororities always have good athletes. They're known as the "pretty, stuck up girls", but their newest pledge class doesn't fit that stereotype. They have a pretty strong sisterhood. Their big downfall is that they aren't very involved on campus

These girls are really nice girls. Phi Mu and Alpha Gam are the best on campus!
