love them! they’ve come a long way from what it used to be! not as big of a party chapter anymore and they’ve got some really really nice girls. i like them alot

In Delta Gamma, I learned that I’m beyond acceptance. It felt like I was back in middle school - the irredeemable “weird kid” who actually wasn’t all that different from anyone else. They sell you this idea of sisterhood that just isn’t there for everyone. I spent my whole time there hoping it would get better, but it never did. I wish I had dropped; keeping up with their arbitrary rules and mandatory events was such a burden. If you are considering greek life, keep this in mind: it can be great for some people. If you want to try it, go for it. Just be critical about what you’re actually getting out of it and if it doesn’t serve you, leave.

Sweet girls! Great philanthropy! Wonderful sisterhood that lasts a lifetime. These women are awesome.

You really can’t expect an organization that was made to be exclusive to be inclusive towards anyone, even their own members. Save your money.

DG is the definition of trashy party girls. Never participate in philanthropies, dirty rushes, and absolutely no class. There are one or two sweet girls, but the rest are crazy.

dgs are definitely fun to be around. I know most of them through working on campus. There chapter just has a lot of younger girls. they seem to like each other for the most part

Delta Gammas are some of the sweetest girls I know!! They always seem to help each other and those not in their sorority too. A lot of them are super involved, and can easily be spotted on campus

These girls have always been so sweet even to me (who is an outsider). I am truly considering going through recruitment this year as a sophomore because of this chapter!

Greek rank doesn’t really give an accurate look into Greek life. Take everything you read from every chapter with a grain of salt, and go into recruitment with an open mind!

I wanted to share my experience with this organization. I first just want to say that although my experiences were overwhelmingly negative, I still met some beautiful, kind and exceptional people in Delta Gamma. From the time I joined even as a new member, I experienced bullying, harassment, gang stalking etc. I was involved, had excellent grades, was friendly and I'm generically attractive so I never understood why so many people in this group were so mean and hateful not just towards me but a lot of their members. It's also not just regular gossip or anything like that. Leaders in this sorority ACTIVELY would try to sabotage opportunities, ruin reputations and control the lives of their members in inappropriate ways. I know it sounds like a stretch, but my experience was extremely traumatizing. The people who were deemed "unattractive" ; were treated even worse. It was almost like they tried to hide them or were uninclusive towards them. I've genuinely never experienced or seen such blatant disrespect in my life before joining this sorority. If you're considering going Greek, especially joining Delta Gamma, I urge you to think heavily about it before joining.
