SUCH sweet girls! I love every phi mu I’ve met so far, they are so sweet and kind to everyone. Classy and kind!

honestly, I see DG as the stereotypical sorority. very rude and just like to party. when the pandemic was really bad I remember them being the sorority that always got caught partying and not wearing masks. I think for DG it's all about presentation, not sisterhood.

I'm sure there are a few nice girls but overall the vibe they give off is very snobbish? I'm friends with a recently alumed phi mu and apparently, there's a lot of miscommunication and a pretty big divide between their officers and regular sisters. idk I just don't hear a lot of good things about phi mu

I am not in a sorority, but I am lucky enough to know a few of the girls in Chi Omega chapter at The University of Montevallo. I met them last fall and have only grown closer since. They are kind and compassionate and they will push you to pursue your career goals! They are tremendous! Go Chi O:)

This chapter is tremendous! If you are thinking of going greek at The University of Montevallo, go Chi O! They are the most accepting and unique set of people that I have met. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Every Chi Omega I have met thus far had been beyond sweet and kind to me! I love getting to meet them and can’t wait to meet more. Such great girls!

this group of girls is amazing! they are so much fun to hang out with and they are some of the friendliest girls on campus!

Love how these girls maintain a great reputation on campus for being sweet, friendly, super involved, and top sorority in grades. They have girls in really tough majors and it’s great to see such motivated young ladies work hard. I would say they’re the sorority that sets the bar (and it’s very high) so maybe that’s why the others sororities overreact when phi mu ladies make a small mistake, but no one is perfect, so be kind. Type of girl I’d want my son to bring home & my daughter to be.

Definitely an undercurrent of homophobia running through this organization that is kind of an “open secret” within the Greek organizations. I’m not saying every phi mu is homophobic because obviously that’s not true and I’m sure there are a few LGBT sisters but overall, if you are LGBT or an ally, I would not go phi mu. Literally every other sorority on UM’s campus is more accepting and making a concerted effort to be more inclusive besides Phi Mu. There’s just an air of passive aggression and disapproval towards their LGBT sisters I’ve noticed. Also, they tend to try to go for girls who have that typical “sorority look”-blonde, traditionally pretty, thin, fit beauty standards. This is problematic to me.

I’ve seen a lot more of them this year and they’re super fun, I wish I’d gotten to know some of them sooner. They are involved in so many places, I’m definitely looking forward to the fall with them!
