I have had several classes with alpha gams this past year. I like the fact that they don't just sit and talk with each other, but they talk with everyone. Super friendly, like if I could afford to be in a sorority, this is the one I would want to be in! :)

These girls are the prettiest girls on campus. They get a bad reputation because of rules that they are required to follow and therefore everyone thinks that they are stuck up and snobby. Great group of girls who know how to have fun but also know when to be classy. Phi Mu ladies are the best on campus and anyone who comes to The University of Montevallo knows who the Phi Mu's are from the very beginning. The pink ladies are the best and everyone who thinks otherwise is in a different sorority.

I've known a lot of these guys through the years and can testify...they have some very successful alumni. Recently celebrated their 40th anniversary, and I was able to see some of these guys in town. Their alumni include college professors, physicians, attorneys, career military officers, entrepreneurs/business owners, cancer specialist / oncologists, airline pilots, accountants, teachers, psychologist, writers, ministers, etc. They've always been a diverse group, but ALWAYS a close brotherhood.

This sorority has been at UM for a long time. Back when they were the Omegas...they were the hottest then...and they remain so today. They have a strong chapter and have a close sisterhood. Their alumni organization is great.

ATO has been around for a long time and have always been the "frat boy" bunch on campus....even when they were the Sigmas. Having a frat house is great,,,,but...there are more things involved in being a good fraternity. They seem to have a splintered brotherhood, and campus and community involvement needs to be stressed more. Here's hoping they continue their existence at UM.

I agree with the remark..."put these guys in a house and it's game over". However, they seem to make residing in Napier Hall....work. This group has been around a long time and appear to have a strong chapter. The remark that his group is the least "greek"... would appear to actually be a compliment to these guys. They seem to celebrate their individuality and not fitting the cookie cutter of the traditional frat boy. They seem to stress community and school involvement.
