by: TrutherI get that's there's tiers and all but I can guarantee in the long run, any national organization is 10x better than any of the local ones. Go tell the person interviewing you that you were a pixie and see how that ends lol

Yes, locals have connections with alumni, but let's be realistic here. DEB is the oldest sorority, and let's say they have 1,500 alumnae. That's a nice size network. Tri Sigma may have 800 LOCAL alumnae, but they have like 80,000 alums around the world. WAY more opportunity with that network.
As for affordability, you get what you pay for sometimes.

Not to be mean, but those DEB alums graduated from Bloomsburg. Whereas the hundreds of thousands of alums from the national orgs graduated from prestigious universities from all over the country. Much better networking opportunities there.
