which houses self-rank the most?

Whoever told you that is probably right. Alpha Delta Pi are the biggest offenders when it comes to self-ranking. The majority of their ranks are all fives or mostly fives. Their pledge class doesn't have "hotties" or "hot girls." They're definitely not on the same level as any of the other houses, especially Alpha Gam or Sig Kap. Plus ADPi pays $5 to remove the comments that they don't like (all of Greek life knows this). I think ADPi would have more respect on campus if they weren't trying so hard to get everybody to like them.

But also bare in mind when you rush, that people get on here, self rank high and rank others low. We can talk badly about all of these organizations and well about them all too. But everyone has a home regardless of who is too and what a dumb website says so just make your decision for yourself.

Who cares what organization ranks its self!? What you should do is forget everything you read on this website. None of the sororities are perfect. You go through recruitment to find where you fit in. If you go through with a preconceived idea of what you believe to be true from what other people say on here, you might not find the place where you truly fit in. You don’t need to look for who is the most popular. Or who throws the best parties. You need to find the one that makes you happy and makes you feel at home. I went through with a preconceived idea because of things I heard, reading this website and gossip. It turns out I didn’t end up there. I was devastated at first but now I couldn’t be happier. I know I probably wouldn’t have really enjoyed or fit in very well in the one I wanted. I love my sorority. We aren’t perfect. None of the organizations are. However, I fit in here. I feel at home when I walk into the house. We might not be considered the best but I have found a home away form home. I know I have made friends that will last a lifetime. So don’t go by what others say. Go through recruitment and make your own judgements. You’ll be glad you did. :)
