There may be COB in the spring but there is no formal recruitment in the spring. As for how the chapter views you it depends on the chapter you accept a bid from. A phi has gone to girls telling them they need to accept a bid so they can meet quota. Gamma phi rarely does COBing so if you are hoping for them, rush in the fall. In phi mu and a chi o girls aren’t viewed as a number of you COB all the girls are welcoming and excited to welcome you into a sisterhood
