Question: Is it even worth rushing the top tier houses if I don't know anybody in it?? It's totally necessary to know somebody to get a bid?

Dont go in with that attitude. If you had to know someone in a top house in order to get a bid then there would only be 10 person pledge classes. It sounds cliche, but just be yourself and you'll be fine. I've been a rush chair for a couple times and I know what's up. Also going on websites like these will not help you at all. Quite ironic that I'm on it now, but I like to see what nonsense is going on in the weeks before school starts on this comical site
