What are colors to avoid (ie unflattering colors) and types of clothes you SHOULD not wear.. ?

If you care about the color to wear that much that you post it in greekrank, then every sorority would be good without a paranoid narcissistic like you. Mic drop.

I mean, colors vary from person to person so there really aren't any universally unflattering colors. If you're super white don't wear any bright or fluorescent colors, if you're tan show it off by doing the opposite. It honestly depends on you for colors, but I guess I wouldn't wear anything too wacky. You want to stand out but you don't want to be remembered for your outfit in a bad way. And as for clothes not to wear, nothing too tight, low cut, or short. You are trying to impress women, not men. Don't wear anything that would be inappropriate for a family gathering.

In general you're supposed to avoid all black or white dresses for preference night because sometimes the sisters will dress like that and you don't want to blend in with them. But not all houses do that.

Don't wear pink if you are a redhead or overweight.

Wear something that you look good in and feel confident about. You're going to be spending a lot of time in that outfit so feel good about it.
