upper middle

On an earlier post people were talking about the top 5 (KAO DDD DG AXO GPHI) and how the upper middle (KKG ADPI XO) would be better to join than APhi and KD.
I was wondering why?

KKG ADPI and XO are more worth joining. Their sisterhood is better, they're better academically, and are more involved. KD and APhi are listed as higher bc the hang out with "better" frats and have "better" block. All of these women are nice but the three are more prestigious than the two in all areas but drinking.

OK, first of all Aphi and KD are IN the upper middle, so it's not accurate to say that the "upper middle" is better to join. And out of the 5 houses in the upper middle, XO, KKG and ADPi are more prestigious, and also more down to earth (although KD is ok in this area).
If you are an attractive girl, you will have no shortage of guys interested in you no matter what house you join, because there are more guys than girls at UofI. So why not join a house where you actually fit in and will make more good friends.

The reason you'll see someone saying that over and over is because they belong to one of those houses and are trying to be so critical of the top houses that ignorant PNMs drop top houses and select one of the middle ones that she recommends. You'll see her rip the top houses over and over. Instead of relying on a girl with a propaganda agenda, go through recruitment and choose the house that suits you the best.
