how to rush well?

So I know a lot of girls take sorority rush like crazy seriously. I heard about like the coaching stuff and talking to alumni and actives and all that. But being someone with no legacy or affliation. How do you rush well? Like what kind of things should you talk about to the girls and make them like you and what not?

Rush at Illinois is pretty chill. The best thing to do would be to just be yourself. A lot of houses hate when girls keep trying to fake things. If they pick up on it, you're out. Best thing is just being easy to talk to and make sure your personality shines through.

I would say try to look and act your best by treating it like you would a job interview

I like it when a PNM asks a question or two about the house, sisterhood, and things like that. Even if it's really simple, it shows that you actually care about that stuff and not just social standing. If I'm iffy on a person but they seem interested in learning more I really consider that when voting.
