Are you a guy or girl? I'm not aware of most fraternities having requirements other than not being on probation, but I suspect sororities might be more strict. That is just a guess though.

i'm a girl and i don't have a very high gpa but would still love to rush and join a house!

I don't have the answer, but I think you can call the Panhel office and ask. You can see whether (a) there is a general requirement and (b) whether certain houses have their own requirements.

If there is nothing specifically written, I would say go for it.
