What are the costs of being in a sorority? Main costs and extras, like clothes.

It can be pretty expensive. Also you might get hit with extra fees if your chapter can't fill the house for living in

Each house's dues range from 500-1000 a semester but it's around 1500 your first semester.

Do any sororities have financial aid or scholarships?

there are definitely scholarships that you can apply for/are eligible for after you are an active member in a house. Most houses are pretty accommodating with fin aid if you need it and can set up payment plans to pay off your dues.

Yea your first semester is going to be the most expensive because of new member fees, your pin, etc. so don't be too surprised or discouraged when you see the financial sheets you get after 1st invite(?) during recruitment.
