as a guy in a fraternity

For future freshmen, I say this because I have a sister that may come to U of I. For what it's worth, one thing that absolutely keeps me awake at night is my little sister being alone in the AKL basement, in the Pike house, or anywhere near KDR, AXP, Theta Chi and maybe Sig Chi to a degree. Please, please stay away from these houses during rush, I know guys in each of these houses and I wouldn't trust them around girls. Sorry if this hurts your rush, but it's your fault.

How do you know it's these houses? Are the stories you hear actually true? Its a big deal to label a house as "rapey" and i know a few guys in some of the houses you named who are incredibly good guys and it sucks that a few bad guys can ruin an entire houses rep

Rapey are your words not mine. And it's about the weakest link. I'm sure there are good guys in every house, and it sucks for them that they get a bad rep from some others in their house, but what's the solution here? To not call the house out?

I'm in a house where we have a bunch of pregames/exchanges with a few houses you named & tbh most of them are the nicest guys out there in the greek system. So why are you trying bash on them??
