you please let us know who else hazes? That would be a good piece of advise as well? Any other bad things we should know about for next year?

I do not think A phi is as high as they are putting themselves. There are tiers where all the sororities are about the same.

First tier (in no order):
Theta, DG, Gamma Phi, DDD (one bad rush won't change their status), and AXO

Second Tier (in no order):
KKG, XO, A phi, KD

Third Tier (in no order):
AGD, DZ, Pi phi, ADpi,

Fourth Tier (IN order):
AO Pi
A E phi
A xi Delta
SK

people on campus do feel that DDD has dropped, not just because of bad rush but because of DDD, Dirty Dirty Dirty rush. Most of the rest is in order also Kd down and a couple on the 3rd tier should go up

on 2nd tier moves up to replace DDD, one on 3rd tier moves up to replace KD and the other two move down one tier. Yes!

there are really 5 tiers. most large universities only have half the number of sororities that we have.

most claim to be against real hazing, though there are rumors about some of the houses. talk to girls who have been in specific houses to find out about that.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that the U of I rush is the toughest rush in the country. All first and second tier houses would be queen anywhere else. Sometimes, it is very political or based on how much money one's parents make instead of personality and how pretty one is.
This is excluding the fact that usually U of I students were over achievers in high school in almost every category. Everyone is trying to come out on top during rush. It is best to realize that first and second tier are amazing! Third and fourth are great as well. Sometimes people prefer fifth!

DDD may have had one bad rush. That doesn't exclude the fact that they have 14s, 13s, and 12s, all of which are beautiful. One good or one bad rush doesn't make a house jump up or down a tier. If DDD has a bad rush next year too, then yes they might be knocked down a tier. As to A phi and Chi O: one good "queen-like" rush is not going to put you in queen status. But if you have about 2 more good rushes then you are certainly on your way.
