KD's need to quit self ranking themselves. You will never be in an upper tier. Give it up

I'm planning on going to UIUC next year and rushing, and I was just wondering... what makes the low sororities, well, lower? And why do the rankings on here not match up to the comments on the side? Just looking for some honest answers! :)

They do not match up because of all of the "games" played here with self-ranking and simultaneous demoting of other houses. Do NOT put any faith in these rankings. I would say the written posts are more accurate but it would be wise to just go through the rush process with an open mind and formulate your own opinion on which houses fit your needs and personality. There is no right or wrong choice if you are comfortable with your decision. Enjoy the process and try to avoid all the games and manipulation that are exhibited on sites such as this.

What I said was that KD and DDD should both go lower as they both did some pretty awful things during rush. I am not a KD or a DDD but apparantly you are a DDD and your comment just proves my point. By saying that KD are dogs it just shows your lack of class and dignity. FYI there are pretty girls and Dogs in all houses including yours. Most people have enough respect for their fellow greeks not to talk about others like that!

Hard to say what makes a sorority popular on one campus, and unpopular on another. It's mostly the history of its pledge classes, but the house itself and it's location probably have something to do with it too. How the girls act on campus causes small changes in rank every year. The self ranking to your left is crazy wrong. Current campus general opinion looks something like this:

But remember, a "top" sorority doesn't necessarily mean you would like it there. All the houses are good so keep an open mind during rush
