frats on the rise
by: PeteI'm rushing Beta next semester since I couldn't in the fall. They always say they "are on the rise" but from what I've seen they don't have block, do anything with sororities and I've heard they have a dry house. I know they were the king house back in the day but is it worth it?

All I will say is college is short. If you can make friends in beta you can make friends in a house where you don't have to build. You'll probably never see the payoff from all of your building cause you'll be graduating if you join beta. You won't get block over night. You'll never have an exchange with a top house. You need to decide if you're happy with what they have now cause in three years not all that much will change.

Rush there see if it's a good fit for you. The fraternity experience extends past just social events..... if you don't like the feel check other houses out
