anyone else hate block?

As a transfer this semester, it honestly really sucked waking up that early just to drink especially when I had drank just the night before. I do drink far less than the average college student, but does anyone else agree with me on this one? O.o

I hate it because tailgating for the games is so much more fun, and cheaper, but nobody at U of I gets that. Instead we just pour money down the throats of the bar owners.

why would we waste time going all the way to memorial to drink in the cold for a game we're going to lose by 21?

Tailgating is an American tradition unlike the marketing scheme the Cochrane bars have made to get students to spend money at the bars in the morning.
