spring rush

i'm looking to rush some top houses in the spring.

do i need to know a few people in the house to rush in the spring or is it fine to not know anyone in the house?

(fraternities, obviously)

Whether you NEED to know anyone or not.....wouldn't you WANT to know some of the guys in each house, to help you make a good decision? One piece of advice - DO NOT join a house just because you think you know their reputation, join because you want to hang out with these guys for the rest of your college days.

I plan on joining a house I feel really comfortable with. It's just that I was just wondering would I have to a chance to see their brotherhood without knowing anyone yet? But yeah, youre def right.

@op - Be yourself, you seem like a good guy. Come in with a positive, friendly attitude, and you and the right house will find each other, and you will have a great time at U of I.
