So what exactyl were the old Betas like? Ive seen the current ones and they're chill but aren't exceptional

My mom said the old Betas were a top house since back when her parents went to UIUC. Her pledge sister married one and they were really great guys. Considered top but were one of the houses who didn't act snotty
And we're nice to everyone. I guess 4 or 5 years ago a few of their members were selling Adderall and some other prescriptions on Facebook and Beta and UIUC shut the whole fraternity down with a four year sentence. So all the old members would be gone and they could start new. Appears that is when SAE rose up and took their spot. If enough of those old members have legacies those kids will most likely go Beta and the house should move up. Really sucks that a few members could ruin such an outstanding tradition.
