decisions, decisions.
by: TransferI'm planning on transferring to U of I for Fall 2015. I wanted to rush at the school I'll be at this year, but wanted to know if that would be smart with respect to rushing at Illinois next year. There are a few sororities here, but not at all big. However, they are still national. Does U of I accept transfers for sororities? Conversely, if I disaffiliated after this year and rushed again next year, would the fact that I'd been in another national sorority work against me somehow? I'm just trying to figure out if it would be better to not rush at all and wait until next year. Sorry if this got wordy, ha. Thanks!

A. Do what you want, you are planning on transferring to U of I but you may not get in.
B. if you join a sorority, you are done and if you do transfer then most likely you will be invited in to affiliate
C. Once you initiate into a sorority you can never be in another one period.
D. You very well will have a more difficult time joining any house at U of I as a sophomore.
