They will basically be looking for your personality type. They want you to fit in obviously, so if they can tell youre nice but have a different personality than the house then they know you wont be a good fit.
Other than that, they want you to be nice, dedicated to your grades, involved, maybe a leader (cant have a pledge class full of girls that cant handle exec positions), responsible. If you go through rush acting like youre only interested in partying, they wont be interested in you.
