people have done it and gotten into houses they love, i had a junior in my pc when i rushed as a freshman and have met other people who rushed as juniors also, go for it!!

UIUC's greek system is struggling. Between the numerous frat SA accusations and the mean girl sororities, it's hard enough. No need to be rude ot someone actually interested in joining.

I met a Junior in my recruitment group who I think did two years at home at a community college but wanted to join a Sorority. She seemed excited. I would def try it out!! Worst comes to worst you drop out of rush, if it is not for you.
