To the 28’s

The truth is 2 years in you’ll found ur group of friends and maybe it’s not ur entire pledge class but you’ve found a couple people u actually like. And that is normal. It’s impossible to be liked and like a group of 40 ppl other than surface level be fr be realistic. By Junior year ur gonna consider dropping and majority do bc why?? Bc u found ur ppl. Greeklife is an easier outlet to make friends and attend social events. Point blank. Everyone can shut up about philanthropy we know u don’t care. Find ppl u vibe with and have fun. Luckily the ppl who recruited u did most of the work bc chances r they recruit someone that’s just like everyone else in the house (everyone is the same shocker). Consider establishing urself even if u realize this isn’t for u. Being in Greeklife opens doors to parties and events. Even if u decide to drop, ppl will know u already and are more comfortable with letting u attend/get invited.

And lastly ur gonna graduate and look back and see that all these house are cut from the same cloth. Everyone is the same person just different font. So relax. Have fun. Seriously it’s not the end of the world what reputation ur house has. As long as ur boozin, partying, meeting new people (outside ur house too) make memories. Good and bad. Not the end of the world if Greeklife isn’t for u, at least u tried. Four yrs goes by fast. Soak it in. U got this

You are so right! I wish more PNMs would look at the big picture and stop focusing on the gossip. There are so many good houses that are not considered top houses. Why does everyone fight to be in the few houses with the meanest girls?
