APHI rank???

i’m a freshman going through rush, and i don’t know much about rankings and i just found this website. i loved aphi and the girls i talked to for the first two rounds were literally so gorgeous and sweet, but im worried about ranks. is aphi a good house?

please don’t tell me ranks don’t matter, i do care about my reputation

No. It’s not a top house at UIUC, I used to think it was before coming here too.
It’s ranked #8-9, it’s after Chi Omega but before KKG.
They recently had a homophobia and transphobia scandal, I wouldn’t recommend this house if you want to be a top house lol

Top houses are full of fake girls who talk sh&t about each other. Also no one cares about “top houses” except freshman.

Yes it is a good house! It had a scandal a couple years ago and that’s why it dropped a little bit. But in recent years it’s been built back up and every aphi I know is great

I love the girls in aphi but if I’m going to be completely honest as a senior in Greek life, men in the Greek life will not respect you. They view tridelt and aphi as easy or not girlfriend materials unfortunately. My littles who are juniors and my g littles who are sophomores also confirmed that it’s a thing.

from what i can tell the house you’re in doesnt make guys not respect you it’s just how you personally act like I could name several tri delts and aphis who carry themselves well and are respected, and several dg’s or ppl in other top houses who don’t and aren’t

Who the F$&k cares what frat boys think? So frat boys can go around f$&king with anyone but girls can’t? Got it.
Girl Aphi is a solid house. People get on here to bring down other houses during rush. I have so many Aphi friends and they’re all cool af and have boyfriends. This is stupid af.

I feel like everyone wants aphi back for the majority of rush so that wouldn’t really categorize it as a low ranked sorority tbh-

I know you said that you didn’t want to hear that ranks don’t matter but fr try to feel out where you fit in the best. it will not only help you feel more comfortable, but promote more cohesive sisterhood within your pledge class/sorority.

Sad to report but since the drop of a recent member aphi is bottom house with phi mu, agd and aopi
