COBS might get completely removed since people would drop formal recruitment when they couldn’t get the house they wanted, so nobody knows.

It's stupid to remove COB. You won't force girls to pledge a house they don't want to pledge. Without COB, most houses wouldn't survive. Formal rush rarely ends with enough pledges to fill a house. All the house do something like snap bids or COB.
