is greek life falling off

as the school gets more competitive to get in to (especially gies), uiuc is gonna have more smart kids, ppl that care less about joining greeklife, more focused on school.
The new lion/kams rules don’t help either, could def see uiuc becoming more like a northwestern when it comes to greek life, when 10 years ago urbana was a top party state school now it’s just grainger and international mfs

Greek life is still strong but give it 10-15 years and the Greek system will be weak. Not enough focus on in state students. All the school cares about is maintaining a “public ivy” status
