Is it possible to get a bid? Yes, if you are cool and have a lot to offer.
Because of your dad? No way, you are not a legacy here for practical purposes. Even in general, UofI is very much "merit based" in that the actual guy matters.
Having a lot of family money, being a legacy, whatever else - it will not hurt you but it does not mean much here.

For gods sake, stop it. Sig Nu is basically a bunch of kids from downstate hick towns and middle class Chicago suburbs.
Very few actually wealthy people send their kids to UofI.
