To the In-Staters
by: BBL DRIZZYHas anyone also noticed how students from the North Shore automatically get into the top sorority/frat? I understand it’s a rich area but that shouldn’t give anyone a leg up.

Certain high schools are feeder schools for certain houses, just because current members know the new freshmen if your HS sends a lot of kids here.
There's a lot of downstate kids in the Greek system, though. Along with Springfield, Peoria, St. Louis, Quad Cities and other metro areas.
And of course kids from rich families will always have an advantage, also athletes, good looking, outgoing personalities and maybe a couple other things. Thats logical.
Don't get too worked up over it, if you want to be in the Greek system the correct house for you will pick you.

North shores all know each other and they will all be friends with mainly each other even though they make it seem like they branched out. There is definitely a superiority complex in alot of them and they only hang out with less than a handful of select frats and are all in the same sororities. Some pledge classes are worst with it than others but they all have a certain ego and take their parents cards to the bars…. They make it seem like they are perfect but have never worked a real job before. Super cliquey and entitled
