Stuck between DG and Theta
by: meowHey everyone! I’m going to be a freshman this fall and I was given a bid to DG and Theta. I was trying to break down which one is better? My friends in both sororities are praising their sorority and although I’m sure they’re great, I want to know the reality of what I’ll be facing. Since this website is anonymous, I was hoping someone would from either sorority would give me advice. Thank you!

Sororities don’t give bids before rush in the fall but nice try….. There are a number of houses, though, that would be better choices than pledging the hazing bots of Theta…..DG, AXO, GPHI, KD. Any of these houses would be a better choice than Theta for Fall 2024 rush.

Why would I turn down DG or Theta for AXO? My friends specifically told me about how bad that sorority is. I’m good! I didn’t add it as an option for a reason.

Really good ranking. I would say KD and DZ are also sororities you should join while SDT and AGD you shouldn't

Meow I don't know who your friends are. But coming from someone in a "top "fraternity the girls of Theta and DG are way bigger bots than AXO. AXO girls are funny and way less plastic plus there is less hazing.

The fact that you care so much about this shows you ain’t getting anywhere in life. Just join the sorority you feel like you’re going to have good friends and stop caring about the ranking. Literally the rankings don’t mean anything and it’s just Greek like ain’t that deep buddy

It's interesting how many of the same stories are being posted. I mean, why have recruitment at all if DGs and Thetas are already offering bids? And, you all must be pretty amazing if these houses are fighting for you already.

As mentioned in my post, I have friends in both sororities which is how I got my bid. I suggest you read ALL the comments before you make an assumption. Thank you tho!
