recommendation letters

How important is it to have letters of recommendation? Also, how many do you need for each house?

Each house has different policies, but letters of rec are not that common at UIUC. If you have one, that's often more than enough.

Yes, while each house does have their own policies, for the most part it ensures that you get ask back yo the second round so I would have one for all the houses that I could get them for.

We get a lot for rec letters so they really aren't that uncommon.
It is different for each sorority.
Some pnms only bother to get rec letters for the houses they think they want.
Get them for every house

However, if you don't have a letter for every house, you're not going to be screwed. Plenty of girls end up in houses for which they don't have rec letters.
