by: @ newbieI am going to be rushing in the fall and have no interest in the top 3 houses. I was wondering, between mid and upper mid what are some of the pluses and minuses of those. Is it important to have really good grades? or just good looks? How important is being an athlete? Are some houses looking for smarties? Some for athletic girls and some for pretty girls. What are the reputation and what certain houses are looking for?

I dont thnk really good grades alone will make you a standout, most girls will have 3.5-4.X because thaat's kind of what you need to get into this school, and it's hard to compare grades from different high schools. If, however, you were very involved in clubs, sports, volunteering (not just your graduation requirement) you can talk about that if it comes up in conversation. It is impressive if you are very involved and it will be noted. Look your best, thats all ill say.
All houses want smart girls to bring up their house gpa, all houses want involved girls that will be able to run exec board. Athletic isnt as important but still a good quality.

Why not be interested in DDD DG theta
Just because they are the top three?
All houses are good
Don't make any decisions on who is considered the best or nasty tent talk
Just try and find where you feel the best
