by: hunterWhich house(s) would be best known for perenially seeking out or attracting rich kids?? Depending on who you talk to, and which era being referred, you'll hear Pikes, Sigs, Psi Upsilon, Sigma Nu and ZBT........Are these accurate ?? Who else ??

Zebes in totality has the $$$$ kids and alums on campus.
Legacy rich house with historically lots of cash from very successful parents and in general the zebes are also very smart and end up with great jobs.
Bonus is that they are super fun to party with too. They know they have $$ and are used to it so no need to flaunt it which is also very attractive.

While there may be rich kids here and there throughout the system, Greek Life has been predominantly (upper) middle-class since Animal House came out in the late 70's. At that point, an influx of middle class students joined houses, which actually saved the dwindling number of members/houses at the time from financial collapse.
Given our current student body, I'd say there's more rich foreigners than anything else. Rich white kids don't go to public universities; their high school creds weren't / aren't high enough.

Really? Athletes and sons of insurance agents, local bank presidents and used car dealers?
You need to reconsider your definition of rich kid !!
I'm talking the generational wealthy and sons of industry captains.....
