SAE DTD and Sigs are not relevant

Let's be generous and say they have 150 guys a piece.
That is a total of 450 guys (really less than that). There are roughly 45,000 students at UofI. Combined they have less than 1% of the total students at our school.
So just have some perspective and join where you feel most at home.

I am very impressed by your math skills but it seems to me you are not seeing the bigger picture. You say that since they only have 450 people combined they are not relevant? In my experience some people are more relevant than others - the 450 people in these houses are more active and involved with the community then say 450 gender studies students. 450 people may be 1% of the student population, but those 450 are the top 1% of the social hierarchy at this school undeniably.

@Skip - First of all I got a laugh from your gender studies comment and certainly agree with you on that point!
My headline was intentionally provocative, meant to be the opposite of those saying that those are the only relevant houses/people here. I think those houses are all good and most of the guys are cool, but saying they are the only relevant ones is a huge overreach. What I'm saying is that certainly some people are more active and involved and perhaps more relevant, but it's not right to say everyone else is irrelevant.
If you want to say those are the most prominent houses, I have no problem with that. But I think that most of the frats on campus have value, and also we need to stick together because there are those who want to "cancel" us if they ever had the chance. And I think you will agree that if there were only 3-5 frats on campus it would be a lot easier for them to do so. Cheers! Beat State Penn!

Not really - I dont wish them bad luck, but its annoying to see nothing else on here.
And next time please come up with a saying that is not overused.
