Can you rush as a grad student?

Just trying to make some friends tbh. If not can I still somehow befriend someone in the house and have a good social life?

Recruitment events are advertised. Just go to some events, maybe it will work out to join a house, maybe you will meet a few new friends. Just be yourself and be friendly and outgoing.

Actually a really low key casual way to get the ball rolling is to just walk around on Quad Day and talk to people manning the various booths. At that point you will probably get a good indication.
