Fall Rushing my sophomore year

by: Freshman

Do I even bother fall rushing once I'm a sophomore? Or should I stick without a house since I am a quarter finished? And if I should join, what are some good houses to join?

Depends, one con is that you’ll be closer with people a year younger than you, pros- be able to attend different events besides the bars here (e.g. House party/ wedding events) imo yes.

Yes! Lots of people join soph year, a few even join junior year although that is more rare.

In some ways its even better, cause you should have your study habits down so you can balance grades and pledgeship.

if you care about the best houses to join, it's SAE, Sigs, and Delts

Those are good houses, but they are all similar - kind of rah rah intense. If you are more low-key you might be more comfortable in a smaller house with guys who have a wider range of interests and practice a more laid back form of brotherhood.

But dont get me wrong, if you are all gung ho for the super fratty lifestyle, those are some of the best houses and they have a lot of cool guys.
