Pledge ZBT or Acacia

stuck choosing between my acacia bid and zbt bid rn. acacia seems like they have better bar pull and parties so rn it’s top choice but I heard they’re pretty harsh w hazing (mainly don’t mind) but I wanted to know if there were any recent scandals I should be aware of that would make it a bad choice

If you are a freshman, ZBT is more likely to still be here when you graduate.

Acacia is doing just fine without university recognition, but one or two more bad things and their alums and nationals could pull the plug.

I have never heard of ZBT being in trouble with university, alums, or nationals.

Acacia dues are 2900 for this semester for their freshman. Highest dues on campus for both frats and sororities. They have no money so u will be spending a lot out of pocket.

That is very vague - does that include rent? meals?
If it does than that is pretty cheap. Or at least "reasonable"

Stubbs are you artistic? dues is not rent it's what you pay for the social fund and other activities that the frat does. If you deadass think it costs 2900 for rent and meals for the entire year you should not be at this school 😭 smooth brain ahh comment.

don't know if you decided or not but house wise Acacia is the play they have some solid parties but ZBTs bar pull is way higher. besides the hazing scandals i dont think ive heard anything abt either house

My son pledged Acacia. There was no hazing that involved harm to him or anyone else whatsoever.

Im a 26 in another house so dont take my word entirely. Just see what pledge class is better. You wont be friends with the actives as much as the other guys rushing so just get to know them in the fall.
