How hard is it to get promoted?

So I am interested in working at a bar. I was just wondering is it likely that I am promoted to bartender or is it hard to reach that position.

This is a question you should ask your houses rep at whatever bar you are trying to work at. It varies based on what house you are in and how well connected your house is.
