CMV: Geed vs Greek!!!
by: BarGuyHear me out being a Greek at u of i just for the parties isn’t worth. Sure you might say bar pull but I can use the money I pay each sem in dues for drinks. If you say for srats I’m laugh at u cuz if u sleep with one of the sisters words gonna spread fast compared to bars. The main pro is brotherhood

Definitely, join a group of guys that you click with and will be friends with. It's not like the old days where Greeks controlled the social scene and people actually cared which house you were in.
Don't get me wrong, some of the coolest guys are in the more prominent houses. But some of the coolest guys are also in the smaller and low-key houses too.
Join where you feel comfortable.
