should I even rush dz? what is this racism scandal??

Hi. I’m thinking of rushing dz but I’m seeing all of these mentions to a racism scandal and I searched everywhere but no one really explained what it was please help me. I’m biracial half white half middle eastern and I just want to know if this is something I should even do?

I dropped from formal recruitment but I remember Delta Zeta bragging about their donations to BLM in one of their videos? Bad cover-up for their behavior maybe??

Racism exists everywhere, but it is not major at UofI. You'll find your house if you keep and open mind.

Idk any of the details around this but DZ is a lower tier house, not one of the more popular ones so if in doubt, best to check out more houses. There are some excellent sororities at UIUC, no need to settle for a sub par one
