PSA to ALL PNMS

by: fax

So this has been said many many times on this website but I thought I would repeat it so everyone knows. This website with all its rankings is so pointless. Trust me, I used to use this site ALOT before I joined a house, but now that I am in one, I could honestly care less what people think about my house. Ranking, bashing, and just plain worrying about what house people are in is the most cringiest thing someone could do. Some people honeslty care more about their house rank than what their major is, it's sad really. You will not care what house you are in if you choose the right people. Thats what its all about. Houses rise and fall, and sure it could be fun to be in a top party house, but some people dont enjoy that type of environment. Some people enjoy a more lowkey house that still gets lit but not too much. The only way youll know is if you rush as many houses and see the vibes from each. Whatever house you choose, please choose it because YOU wanted to be apart of it, and not because of some weirdo on GreekRank.

I am in a top srat and it is not all that it is rated to be. It is very cliquey and I feel that that I don’t belong. I understand some girls will always be more popular but isn’t it suppose to be about sisterhood too. I am not included sometimes.

I feel like top houses are like high school 2.0 for most people

Yeah, like a bad teen movie where the main character tries to throw a huge party while his parents are away, just to impress classmates.

Mature people join smaller houses and enjoy a balanced college lifestyle.

I plan to be successful and have real friends, not try to impress people by wearing the right clothes and throwing a huge party for people that don't like me.

No a sorority won't have any sisterhood because you guys don't get hazed. Hazing builds friendships so of course you won't feel close.

Or Acacia’s hot showers? Giving someone 2nd degree burns builds friendships.

Heard exactly this from some girls at the top srats very cliquey. If you are a “little” overweight and don’t match the beauty of certain members, you don’t get invited to some group things and not featured in their social media posts.

So, hit the gym. What's wrong with hanging out with others who share your discipline.

That's really annoying. Some things you are born with and can't change. Some things are up to you.

Yes!! Do as many informal events as you can and see which girls you feel the most comfortable with! Whether this site calls it a top srat or a low one, you want to join a place where you will genuinely enjoy your time!!!

Top srats are very cliquey. I have regrets joining one . My group is being left out on social events. Girls are nice to your face and rude behind your back. Believe me there is a hierarchy within your pledge class.

you find that among all tiers, cliques more common than not, it is such a waste of energy and works against all of the groups in the end
