do sororities at u of i cob?
by: EmKatI was just wondering if any sororities do any form of informal rushing? Like if I'm transferring to U of I in the spring, do I have a chance of going greek this year or do I have to wait to rush next year?

If you email panhellenic council and tell them you are interested in doing informal in the spring they will give chapters that are potentially doing informal your name. But honestly the selection is minimal in informal and you might be better off waiting for formal recruitment. Phi Sigma Sigma is new though and will definitely be doing informal in the Spring. A lot of middle tier and low houses normally do informal as well, but with the large recruitment this year its questionable how many chapters will be handing out bids in the spring.
