all pledgeships are different but for the most part it will affect your grades. its expected that grades will drop during pledgeship
and costs also depend on which house and the amount of brothers

its pretty simple, you have to be a cool guy. Doesn't matter where you come from, plenty of sophomores join houses.
top house: sigma chi, ato, pike, sae, delts, sig eps
pledgeship at any top, or good house is a lot of responsibility and can mess up your grades a lot if you're not careful.
The cost is all roughly the same. Pledging is anywhere from 200-400, living in is 8 grand a year for most houses, with a few houses costing 9-10

Sigep shouldnt be ranked up there with the top 5, they barely crack the top 10. goes sigs, tau, pike, sae, delt, acacia, zbt/phi delt, sigep/lxa. Sigep (and tau this year supposedly) are non hazing, wont mess your grades up as much, the rest probably will. Real pledgeship will cost you a lot of money. If youre cool, you can easily get a bid sophomore year.

its easy to get a bid as a guy. guys in top frats are douches. is it really that hard to act semi normal and know how to handle liquor? stop bragging about being in a frat- no one cares. but to answer your question, you'll be fine
