even tie between d-chi and sig chi; not really sure how d-chi pulled it off but the pledges i've met were top tier, everyone else was pretty evenly split this year. ato could've been if there pledge class hadn't been cut in half

Agreed. D.Chi and sigs both have a strong pledge class with cool guys. However, Phi Psi has come out of nowhere with a good pledge class, one that I'd dare to say is almost as good as D.Chi and Sigs. The guys I've met from there are super chill and they pull pretty hard. Aside from that, there are a few other frats that pulled in solid classes, though they are split between legit dudes and weirdos.

Maybe their alums came back and helped out. Back in the 80's DX were one of the Top 5 along with Sigs, ATO, Beta, and Pike.

Plus they have that nice huge house. So to be honest it does not surprise me.

DX is working very hard on these comments. Let me be honest, I'm in a very good sorority, not one of the "top" or whatever, but when we had an event with DX, the entire place was like an 8th grade dance night. Guys on one side and girls on the other. And it stayed this way for a very long time. Guys are awkward and weird. Same goes for phi psi, except they're even worse. D Chi and Phi Psi don't have pledge classes anywhere near what Sigs had. Please stop self-ranking, it's what freshmen do.
